WRAP | Nedbank Cup - Round of 32
A comprehensive wrap of all the collated fixtures, scores and match reports from the Nedbank Cup Round of 32:
FRIDAY, 4 FEBRUARY
University of Pretoria 2-0 Chippa United
Chippa United were sent crashing out of the Nedbank Cup at the first hurdle with a 2-0 shock defeat to GladAfrica Championship outfit the University of Pretoria at Tuks Stadium on Friday afternoon.
Ayanda Msani skipped past Thabiso Lebitso down the left and delivered an excellent cross to the near post with Lulama Maqoko getting ahead of his marker and powering home the header from close-range.
A couple of seconds later the lead was doubled. A long ball over the top was played down the left and Chippa keeper Ayanda Mtshali made a suicidal attempt to try and dribble past Kamogelo Pheeane, who dispossessed him and curled the ball into the empty net.
It was then just a matter of AmaTuks seeing out the game, which they did comfortably to advance to the Round of 16.
