Wout van Aert takes Vuelta stage victory, Eddie Dunbar 14th

Belgian Wout van Aert sprinted to win stage seven of the Vuelta a Espana on Friday, his second victory of this year's race, with Australia's Ben O'Connor retaining the overall lead.

Czech rider Mathias Vacek (Lidl-Trek) came in second ahead of Spain's Pau Miquel Delgado.

Corkman Eddie Dunbar (Team Jayco Alula) produced an excellent ride to finish 14th and move up to 26th in the general classification.

Darren Rafferty is 104th. The Co Tyrone man, makign his Grand Tour debut, was 121st in Friday's stage.
