“Would make perfect sense” – Nottingham Forest reignite interest in EFL ace: The verdict

Nottingham Forest have reignited their interest in Blackpool winger Josh Bowler, as per an exclusive Football League World report. 

The report states that the Reds have joined the likes of Bournemouth, Burnley, Fulham and Leicester City as clubs who are currently monitoring the 23-year-old’s progression at Bloomfield Road.

The winger has netted seven times and has three assists for the Seasiders this season, adapting seamlessly to the rigours of second-tier football.

It is believed that an offer around the £5 million mark would be enough to secure Bowler’s services when the summer transfer window opens.

Josh Bowler has had a great season with Blackpool having scored seven goals and contributed three assists so far this season. He’s been a mainstay in the side making 39 appearances.

You can see Bowler being a good signing for Steve Cooper’s side and him fitting in well. He has really proved himself at Blackpool this season as a player who can do well consistently.

At the age of only 23-years-old, he is a player young enough to be shaped by Steve Cooper into the kind of player he needs and wants in his side but he’s already well on his way.

That being said, you have to wonder whether Bowler would start for Forest given the other players they’ve got such as Johnson, Zinckernagel and Grabban.
