It comes as arrests at football matches in the top five English leagues are at their highest levels since 2015.

The data which covers the first six months of the season reveals more than 800 football-related arrests across the country in the first six months of the season

Of these, 218 of the arrests took place in London.

Chief constable Mark Roberts, the head of the UK's Football Policing Unit, said cases of anti-social behaviour in young fans is a particular area of concern.

He recently voiced concerns about a pilot scheme that allowed fans to drink in the stands.

Fulham, Sutton United and Dagenham & Redbridge fans were the best behaved, with no home fans arrested at their stadiums.
