'World's Scariest Man' wants to fight Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

Martyn Ford is targeting a sensational boxing fight with WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson after he’s finished with Sajad Gharibi, better known as the ‘Iranian Hulk.’

Ford, also known as ‘The World’s Scariest Man,’ is having the bout with Gharibi on April 2 at the O2 Arena in London, but his eyes are already on the future, with The Rock as his main target.

The 39-year-old is confident he’ll ease past this first challenge and that’s why The Rock is already on his radar.

Ford comes in at a height of six feet nine inches, while upcoming opponent Gharibi is only six foot two inches.

This clear advantage has made him look for future fighting opponents, and the WWE legend is the first name on his wish list.

Speaking to Muscle and Health, Ford said: “I’d love to challenge The Rock to a fight. We’d make a fortune.

“It would be a phenomenal fight because he’s a great athlete. He’s very mobile, strong and comes from a wrestling background.

“[Gharibi] is in for an absolute world of s***. I would not want to be him.”

Gharibi gets his name of the ‘Iranian Hulk’ due to his sheer muscle size, weighing in at 390lbs. That is 103lbs more than Ford, so there is some chance for the 29-year-old.

But Ford is not worried and believes the fight could end badly.

“Genuinely, hand on heart. I don’t think he understands what’s going to happen when he steps into that room.

“It’s genuinely a serious concern of mine that he’s going to get seriously hurt.”

There will also be another battle of giants happening next month when two ex-strongmen of the world Eddie Hall and Hafthor Bjornsson fight.

Boxing fans should have a lot to look forward to, witnessing rare matches between genuine super-heavyweights.
