Wor Flags plea to fans ahead of Arsenal as every seat is set to be involved in 'biggest' display yet

Wor Flags are planning their biggest display yet as Newcastle United take on Arsenal on Monday night - with every seat in the ground set to have something to wave. The group have issued a call to fans to make sure they take their seats early to ensure the display goes as planned.

The group, who returned in October following the sale of the club to the current owners, have been credited with aiding Newcastle’s fight against the drop. Their displays have captured the positivity currently engulfing the club and each display has been applauded by fans and even Eddie Howe.

From the ‘Big River’ display against Tottenham to one dedicated to Allan Saint-Maximin before the Crystal Palace clash - each display takes time and precision to put together. With Arsenal, the final visitors to St James’ Park of the 2021-22 season, Wor Flags are going bold with their plans.

Every fan will play their part with all sides of the grounds - including level seven - having the opportunity to get involved. The group are working hard ahead of Monday’s game to make sure all goes to plan - but their hard work can only pay off with the help of those fans at the game.

Speaking to Chronicle Live, a spokesman for the group said: “It's really important fans are in their seats early before kick-off because if they're not it can look a little patchy and it might not look as great as what it could do.

“We've seen some of the scenes around Europe, in the Champions League and Europa League where some teams are putting on incredible displays and that is exactly what we want but it requires everyone to be in their seat beforehand and not coming in just after kick-off!

“We plead with people to be there and help make this a display that everyone can be involved
