Women's World Cup fans say the same thing as Spain scorer Olga Carmona reveals message on shirt
Spain's goalscorer Olga Carmona revealed a message on her shirt reading "Merchi" when she put her side in front in the World Cup final against England.
The Lionesses are in the nation's first final in the competition since 1966 but it was their opponents who took the lead in Sydney in the first half. Spain capitalised on a mistake from Lucy Bronze and Carmona was there to send an effort beyond England Manchester United goalkeeper Mary Earps.
Amid the celebrations, the Real Madrid CF star unveiled a message on her shirt that left those watching searching for answers. Plenty of theories emerged on Twitter, now known as X.

According the Mirror, the word translates to "Buy" or in Catalan, "Thankyou. One theory suggests it's a tribute to her old school, Colegio Mercedes. However, the Athletic's Laia Cervello Herrero says those close to the player say its for the mother of a friend for hers.
Spain had the opportunity to double their advantage in the second half as Keira Walsh was penalised for a handball in the box following a VAR review. However, Mary Earps stepped up to deny Jennifer Hermoso from the penalty spot.
Sarina Wiegman made plenty of changes at half-time with Rachel Daly and former United forward Alessia Russo making way for Chloe Kelly and Lauren James.
