Women's Euro 2022: Top 5 venues ranked

The Women’s Euro 2022 kicks off this summer, and fans will have a choice of some of the top stadiums to visit around the UK.

In addition to being the biggest Women’s European Championships ever, this tournament will see four weeks of exhilarating football that will attract fans from across the globe.

The tournament will be played in ten stadiums across nine English cities, with the first match being played at Old Trafford in Manchester and the final at Wembley in London.

Because of UEFA rules banning standing areas, the capacity of some smaller stadiums is being reduced further – and already, many games are sold out.

However, while it’s still five weeks away from the action, we have selected five outstanding venues that will host some of the best female footballers.

According to UEFA. tickets for the tournament will range from £5 to £50, with more than half a million of them available for less than £25 to ensure that everyone can attend.

Even with concerns, Euro 2022 is still set to be the best-attended European Championships ever, with the final and all England’s group games already sold out in Manchester, Brighton and Southampton.

The iconic Wembley will host the UEFA Euro 2020 final having also hosted the 2011 and 2013 UEFA Champions League finals as well as many domestic finals, including the FA Women’s Cup in the past.

With a capacity of 74,000, Manchester United’s ‘Theatre of Dreams’ will only host the opening match, as England plays Austria in Group A.
