Women’s Champions League: Arsenal & Chelsea fixtures, teams, results, how to watch & more

The 2022/23 Women’s Champions League season is almost upon us.

Lyon won a record-extending eighth Women’s Champions League crown last year after beating Barcelona 3-1 in the final.

It’s been 16 seasons since a British side last won the competition, with both Arsenal and Chelsea seeking to end that barren run this time around.

This year’s tournament will be the 22nd edition of the championship and is the second to feature a 16-team group stage.

Scroll down to find out everything you need to know about the Women’s Champions League.

The Women’s Champions League group stages kick-off on October 19th and will run until December 22nd.

After that, the knockout phases will commence, though the exact dates for these fixtures are unconfirmed.

The final will take place on either June 3rd or 4th at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.

Here we'll showcase all the results that have occurred in the competition so far.

In total, there are 16 teams who have made it to the group stage.

The groups are as follows:

Group A: Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid and Vllaznia

Group B: Wolfsburg, Slavia Praha, St. Pölten and Roma

Group C: Lyon, Arsenal, Juventus, Zürich

Group D: Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Rosengård, Benfica

You can read more about each group here.

Chelsea qualified automatically for the competition after winning the Women’s Super League, while Arsenal booked their place in the main draw after beating Ajax over two legs.

The Blues failed to make it to the knockout rounds last year and face another tough ask in doing so, with arguably the hardest group of the lot.

PSG made it to the semi-finals last season, before losing to eventual champions Lyon.

Real Madrid are also a strong outfit and knocked out Manchester City in qualifying
