Woman filmed herself sexually abusing boy and sent videos to paedophile for cash

A woman who carried out disgusting sexual abuse against a child proceeded to share videos of the attacks in exchange for cash.

Emily Hedigan, 21, pleaded guilty to eight offences when she appeared at Leeds Crown Court on February 29. She repeatedly provoked the young boy, who was under the age of 13, to engage in sexual activity and proceeded to film it, sending the footage to a man elsewhere in the country for money.

Her crimes were revealed when a person discovered a video and pictures of the abuse on her mobile phone. A specialist safeguarding investigation was launched by West Yorkshire Police in Leeds on January 29, Yorkshire Live reports.

Hedigan, of Broadlea Grove, Bramley, received a sentence of four years end eight months in prison yesterday (April 25). She will also remain on the Sex offenders Register for life alongside a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
