Wolves team news vs Leeds United: Willy Boly returns as Bruno Lage makes three changes

Bruno Lage has restored Willy Boly to Wolverhampton Wanderers’ starting line-up for tonight’s clash with Leeds United.

Lage has stuck with the 3-5-2 formation that he fielded against Everton last time out, but he has made three changes to it. The most noticeable is Boly's return at the expense of Max Kilman in defence.

Daniel Podence starts instead of Hwang Hee-chan after replacing the South Korean in the opening exchanges of Sunday’s 1-0 win over Everton. Hwang only lasted 15 minutes of the game at Goodison Park due to injury, but he has been passed fit to take his place on the bench tonight.

Rayan Ait-Nouri also returns to Wolves’ starting XI after being left out for Marcal last weekend. Ait-Nouri made his first Premier League start of the season in the 1-1 draw with Leeds at Elland Road in October.

Wolves are looking to secure their third straight Premier League win to pile the pressure on their rivals for Europe. A win for Lage’s team would lift them up to sixth in the table.

Leeds cut a run of six straight defeats to record their first victory under new head coach Jesse Marsch against Norwich City last time out. Marsch lost his first two fixtures in charge of 16th-placed Leeds against Leicester City and Aston Villa.
