Wolves: Diego Costa will 'totally change' mentality at Molineux

Wolves striker Diego Costa could be a game-changer for the club, believes journalist Dean Jones.

They have struggled for goals under manager Bruno Lage, but Jones thinks there could be an improvement there and to their mentality following the 33-year-old’s arrival at Molineux.

Wolves recently signed Costa on a free transfer, with chairman Jeff Shi hailing his winning pedigree and experience.

Jones thinks Costa is just what Wolves, who were one of the lowest scorers in the Premier League last season, need.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the transfer insider said: “It’s a gamble in terms of what he can bring physically. He hasn’t played enough football for us to really know how he’s going to cope, but this team has absolutely no cutting edge.

“It’s got no instinct for goals and there’s no fight to win, but Diego Costa totally changes that and brings a new mentality to the club and to that starting XI if he gets in it.”
