Winter Olympics LIVE: Great Britain faces Japan in women's curling final
Great Britain are facing Japan in the Olympic curling final in the early hours of this morning.
Hailey Duff, Jennifer Dodds, Vicky Wright and Eve Muirhead go for gold 20 years after Britain's last curling success in Salt Lake City.
The quartet are in action a day after Bruce Mouat's men were denied by Sweden in the men's final.
Muirhead's rink overcame Sweden 12-11 after an extra end in a dramatic semi-final on Friday, while Japan progressed against Switzerland.
Muirhead will be steely-focused as she targets the one major curling medal that still eludes her, and will be backed up by an inexperienced team that nevertheless comes armed with plenty of momentum and a welcome sense of perspective.
Vice-skip Wright is a nurse who will return to work on the NHS front-line next week, having juggled her curling training with her vital work during the coronavirus pandemic.
