Winter Olympics, Day 13 live: Sami Kennedy-Sim shares inspirational vow ahead of ski cross

Sami Kennedy-Sim’s moment has arrived as the oldest Australian at Beijing 2022 officially becomes a three-time Winter Olympian.

The 33-year-old headed down the ski cross course for seeding runs on Thursday afternoon, with the finals taking place in the evening.

“Been working my ass off for this!” Kennedy-Sim wrote on Instagram on Wednesday.

“Third Olympics - I can’t wait to show up for my team and my country but most importantly for ME.

“Time to leave no stone unturned.”

Kennedy-Sim received support from fellow Olympians Belle Brockhoff, Greta Small, Lydia Lassila and Keesja Gofers.

Kennedy-Sim made her debut at Sochi 2014, just nine months after suffering a stroke, and finished eighth at PyeongChang 2018.
