Winter Olympics, Day 8 live: Aussies go for gold after snowboard star’s devastating crash

Day eight of the Beijing Winter Olympics has begun in dramatic circumstances with Aussie snowboard star Belle Brockhoff taken to hospital following a horror crash in the mixed snowboard cross.

Looking ahead, Breanna Walker (monobob heats), Greta Small (downhill skiing) and Jaclyn Narracott (skeleton) will all be flying the flag for Australia at the halfway point of the Beijing Games.
