Winners of the RHS and MEN Pub Garden Competition 2024 announced
RHS and MEN Ginnel Garden Competition winners have now been revealed with an impressive set of honourable shortlists.
The first-ever RHS Urban Show has opened its doors today (18 April) and to celebrate ahead of this, the MEN and the RHS teamed up to launch a new competition, offering pubs the chance to win invitations to the show opening and help transform their pub gardens into a vibrant space.
The garden - designed by Emma Tipping, a former RHS Young Designer of the Year contender and Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal Winner - is planted in transportable planters and containers and will be delivered to the winning pub after the end of the show.

RHS and the MEN are excited to announce the winner and runners-up of the first Pub Garden Competition, which launched in 2024.

Jane Dudley, a volunteer at The Star Inn, shared her excitement at the announcement, she said: “I’m really pleased! We’re all ecstatic. It’s so exciting - one of the committee members said the prize is for all the hard work and perseverance of the committees that have kept The Star going since 2009.”
The Urban Show has been created to celebrate the growing urban gardening movement. It explores the secrets to growing happy houseplants and vertical structures for awkward urban spaces and explores the garden vision for a greener city.
Departing from the usual outdoor format of the RHS shows, this event is taking root entirely indoors in the space of the former railway. of Depot Mayfield.
The RHS Urban Show is running from the 18th to 21st of April 2024 with two separate times of 10am to
