Winmau World Darts Masters LIVE results as Luke Humphries leads the stars on day one

The big guns of darts are getting rolled out again with Luke Humphries heading the elite cast at the 2025 Winmau World Masters.

World No.1 Humphries is the biggest star as the darts show gets on the road at Arena MK in Milton Keynes. Following Wednesday’s qualifiers, the final 32 has been finalised.

And now the TV cameras have arrived to show all the action on the screens. Humphries begins his title challenge against former Premier League runner-up Joe Cullen, who won The Masters in Milton Keynes back in 2022.

World Series winners and defending champion Stephen Bunting and Rob Cross are also in action, as well as Gerwyn Price the Iceman, Michael Smith and Danny Noppert.

Peter Wright has been written off at various stages of the past year, but his win over Luke Humphries at the Worlds tells you he still has fire. The two-time World Champion can give another indication that his talents still burn when he meets Kevin Doets. He'll have to because the Dutchman is dangerous, just as Smith.

Michael Smith's exit from the Worlds at the hands of Kevin Doets sent shockwaves around the Ally Pally and saw hum tumble down the rankings. The former World Champion needs to start the ascent again, but he's got a hugely-difficult opener tonight against Danny Noppert. Big, big game and potential weekend ahead for Smith, who has paid for his form loss by missing out of the Premier League.
