Wimbledon 2022: When are the men's and women's finals and how can I watch on TV?

One of the most hotly-anticipated events on the tennis calendar, Wimbledon 2022, is finally upon us.

Two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray and British Number One Emma Raducanu may have been knocked out of the competition already, but Britain’s Katie Boulter is still in with a fighting chance after her second round win against Karolína Plíšková.

She will compete against Harmony Tan in the third round, who knocked American tennis ace Serena Williams out of the competition in the first round.

For the first time, the tournament will be played over 14 days and include play on Middle Sunday, according to the official schedule.

The third round will take place on both Friday, July 1, and Saturday, July 2, and the fourth round will happen on Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4.

The quarter finals will take place across Wednesday, July 5, or Thursday, July 6, before the semi-finals on Thursday, July 7.

But who will take the Wimbledon winners title from Ashleigh Barty and Novak Djokovic this year?

Here’s when the men’s and women’s Wimbledon 2022 finals will take place and how you can watch.

The women’s and men’s singles finals will take place on the last two days of the competition.

The women’s singles final take place on Saturday, July 9 at 2pm.

The outcomes of the matches over the next two weeks will determine which athletes face off on the Centre Court this weekend.

You can catch all the action live on BBC One, or stream it online on the BBC Sport website.

BBC Radio 5 Live will also provide live commentary and expert analysis.

The mixed doubles final is on Thursday, July 7, while the women’s doubles finals will also take place on Sunday, July 10 at 12pm.

The men’s singles finals will start at 2pm on Sunday, July 10.
