'Why not?' - Manchester United fans send Erik ten Hag transfer message as Ajax star becomes free agent

Manchester United supporters have urged Erik ten Hag to bring another Ajax star across to Old Trafford with Dusan Tadic now available on a free transfer.

Ajax confirmed the departure of their captain late on Friday night, following the termination of his contract. Reports in the Netherlands suggested the 34-year-old was unhappy with the quality at the club and held a meeting with director Sven Mislintat to discuss exiting his deal a year early.

The Serbian international left Southampton for Ajax in 2018, a move sanctioned by then-manager of the Dutch club Erik ten Hag. The versatile attacker has been an incredible servant in Amsterdam, registering 105 goals and 112 assists in 241 appearances across all competitions.
