Why Chido Obi could be in the Manchester United squad vs Tottenhamz

There have been ten goals in the two games between Tottenham and Manchester United already this season and Spurs could have tallied double the three they scored at Old Trafford.

United have injury problems to monitor before kick-off today, though Amorim was unclear on which players have issues ahead of their first game in nine days.

"We had some problems also," Amorim said on Friday. "So we don’t have players back, maybe we have one or two issues but we are waiting.

"We have one player also who is sick so we will see the team at the weekend. But was good to work with the team, to feel the players and to try to improve our performance."

Amorim did not mention which players had issues.

Who's in?

"I don't want to say names because we have to be careful with that," Amorim stressed. "They are working with us. We had some problems this week, we called some young players to be in our training so we will have the data and evaluation and he is one of them."

He is Chido Obi, the only name Amorim would cough up relating to United's squad issues. The 17-year-old striker plundered a hat-trick against Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday and his potential promotion possibly suggested Rasmus Hojlund or Joshua Zirkzee were one of the doubts. But they have both travelled to London and Zirkzee has as well.
