Who makes your current strongest Blackpool XI ahead of the Championship season?

Blackpool don't have long to wait until their Championship season starts.

With a number of pre-season fixtures on the cards throughout July, the Seasiders will then start life under Michael Appleton in the league at home to Paul Ince's Reading on July 30. Bloomfield Road will likely be packed out for that opener and no doubt the side will look different to what it does now once Blackpool start to make strides in the transfer market.

As of yet, the haven't done any business this summer in the first-team with Neil Critchley's shock departure and the consequential Head Coach search no doubt putting planned recruitment on the backburner. Now with a new man at the helm, Blackpool can look to strengthen in a number of priority areas of the field.

That being said, there is still plenty of talent at Michael Appleton's disposal and on paper, many of those in the squad fit the style Appleton wants to see from his side and should the blueprint be followed it could well be a successful marriage.
