Who is Kenan Yildiz? Man United £33m 'target' tipped to be first Ruben Amorim transfer

Manchester United are being linked with a move for Juventus star Kenan Yildiz ahead of the January transfer window.

United have already been credited with an interest in several potential new signings ahead of the window opening in the New Year. Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, Noussair Mazraoui and Manuel Ugarte were all signed by the Reds last summer.

Ruben Amorim was appointed as United's new head coach last month and will still be assessing his squad ahead of the January transfer window. With less than a month to go until the window opens, rumours are beginning to swirl about the business that United may conduct.

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has reported that United have identified Yildiz as a transfer target ahead of the New Year. However, it has been stated that United are monitoring Yildiz ahead of a potential move next summer.

United are reported to be "impressed" with Yildiz's progress at Juve, with the forward scoring four goals in 19 appearances this season. The 19-year-old is reported to be settled in Turin and is contracted at the Serie A club until the summer of 2029.

So what more do we know about the latest player linked with a transfer to United?

Yildiz plays as a winger for Juventus, typically on the left, but is also capable of performing as well as a centre forward. Transfermarkt has the forward currently valued at €40million (£33.2million).

Yildiz was born in Germany and started his career with Regensburg and was eventually signed by Bayern Munich when he was seven years old. Juventus signed the
