Who is in The Invisible Thread cast and what is the Netflix movie about?

Every month Netflix likes to spruce up its list of titles by bringing in class favourites, new releases and loads of originals. A new Italian Netflix original called The Invisible Thread premiered on Netflix today.

This original title follows the path of a young teen facing an identity crisis and on top of this an unpredicted family drama adds fuel to his fire.

The cast includes Italian actors Filippo Timi (Fairytale) and Francesco Scianna (The Trial) in the roles of Paolo and Simone, while Francesco Gheghi (I Am Tempesta) plays Leone. Other cast members also include Valentina Cervi, Giulia Maenza, Oscar Matteo Giuggioli, Emanuele Maria Di Stefano, Mauro Conte, Alessia Giuliani, Gianluca De Marchi, Gerard Tyler and Jodhi May.

California-born Leone lives with his two dads Simone and Paolo. Leone was brought up in Italy and makes a documentary about his parents but is surprised when a real life plot twist occurs in his family.

The complex situation pushes Leone to reflect on the true nature of the ‘invisible thread’ that binds him to his family. The Invisible Thread is now available to watch on Netflix.
