Erik ten Hag could give another academy youngster a chance in the first-team set-up, with Elyh Harrison named in the Manchester United squad to face Newport County on Sunday afternoon.

The 17-year-old goalkeeper could be named on the bench alongside veteran Tom Heaton, with Altay Bayindir given his competitive debut from the start. Harrison joined United two years ago from Stevenage Town and initially signed a scholarship deal with the club. He impressed with his performances at the U18 level and was subsequently rewarded with his first professional contract last March.
