FA Cup fifth round draw in full as Manchester United and Man City discover opponents
Holders Manchester City will visit Premier League strugglers Luton Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup while Manchester United will face an away tie should they beat Newport County this afternoon.
The Reds will travel to either Bristol City or Nottingham Forest in the last 16 if they can see off their League Two opponents in Sunday's 4.30pm kick off. Erik ten Hag's side will be heavy favourites to progress as they chase their only realistic option of a trophy.
Holders City, who won the all-Manchester cup final last season as part of their historic treble, are still in contention to repeat that trophy haul having already claimed the Super Cup and Club World Cup this season. Pep Guardiola's men are the favourites for the FA Cup this term having secured their spot in round five with a late 1-0 win over Tottenham on Friday night.
Non league side Maidstone United were handed a trip to either Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry having stunned Ipswich Town on Saturday. The fifth round ties will take place during the week of February 28, a midweek round.
