Who is Doğukan Sinik? The Turkish international winger wanted by Hull City

Hull City are closing in on a move for Antalyaspor's Doğukan Sinik. The Turkish winger becomes the latest player from the SuperLig in line for a move to the MKM Stadium after Acun Ilicali's takeover last season.

The 5ft11 winger made his debut for Turkey last term and became an instant hit, scoring two goals in a match against Lithuania which Stefan Kuntz's side won 6-0 in the UEFA Nations C League. Speaking after the game, Kuntz said: "We will learn lessons from Portugal and Italy. We will improve ourselves. I am happy for Salih Özcan. Doğukan Sinik also played for the first time. Performance is very important to us. We judge our players by that."

The 23-year-old winger was the only player from Antalyaspor to be called up to the national team last season. He played 32 league games scoring three goals and notching five assists in the SuperLig.

Shota Arveladze's side announced the arrival of Nathan Baxter earlier this week, having already captured Ozan Tufan from Fenerbahce last month. Tobias Figueiredo also penned a two-year deal with City after leaving play-off final winners Nottingham Forest.
