Who are Ineos? Sir Jim Ratcliffe's company and other clubs amid Manchester United investment
INEOS founder Sir Jim Ratcliffe looks set to take over 25 per cent of Manchester United in a £1.3billion deal with the Glazer family.
Ratcliffe fought off competition from Saudi Arabia to secure a stake in the football club and the British billionaire wants to create sustainability going forward. The 71-year-old will lead that INEOS takeover bid and looks like he will he having a hands-on approach when it comes to seeing how the added money will be spent.
But who are Ineos, what role does Ratcliffe have with the business now and what other clubs has the firm invested in? The Manchester Evening News explains below:

INEOS is a British multinational chemicals company that was founded by Ratcliffe in 1998. Since then, it has grown to be one of the largest chemical companies in the world.
In line with the green energy push, INEOS has always been a leading pusher of renewable energy. They are one of the world's leading pioneers when it comes to generating sustainable energy from waste.
The company is split into about 20 standalone business units and Ratcliffe generally allows them to operate independently. Occasionally, he will attend board meetings with his associates.
United will not be the first sports, or even football, team to be owned by INEOS. The company owns Nice in Ligue 1 and FC Lausanne–Sport from the Swiss second division.
In Formula 1, INEOS part-own the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. They are also a performance partner for the New Zealand national rugby team.
