'Which one?' - Pep Guardiola gives VAR verdict after Man City frustration

Pep Guardiola sarcastically swept aside questions about the officiating in Manchester City's game with Chelsea after Rodri's complaints.

City were visibly irritated during the game at a number of decisions that didn't go their way, and despite a number of VAR checks for penalties none were given to the home side. Rodri complained after the game, saying: "I don't want to talk about the referee, but I don't remember a game with so many VAR checks and none for us, come on man."

Those comments were put to Guardiola after the game, but the City manager wanted specifics. "Which ones? I don't know," he said. "If you tell me the specific decisions I can tell you but I don't know what you mean. We have to perform better in the first half."

When pressed on the late penalty shout that saw Ruben Dias go down in the area and Levi Colwill handle the ball as he tried to clear it, Guardiola mischievously replied: "Which one? Which one? The one in the Chelsea box? I didn't see it."

Despite Rodri's frustrations with the decisions, he was in agreement with his manager that they had to do better themselves. The midfielder demanded defensive improvement and responsibility from his teammates.

"It was in our hands and we have to do better individual actions and you can't let the game go this way," he said. "I'm not blaming anyone but we have to take responsibility if we want to win the league.

"We had chances to win and I felt the momentum but sometimes it's a bit frustrating and the ball doesn't go in. I don't want to talk abut the referee, but I don't remember a game with so many VAR checks and none for
