Where to watch every Formula 1 2025 race on Sky and VPN as Chinese Grand Prix kicks off

After what feels like a long winter break, the Formula 1 season for 2025 is set to finally begin this weekend on March 16, 2025. The Australian Grand Prix will be the first race on the calendar with the likes of Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris set to fly around the track at ungodly speeds as they compete for the world championship title once more.

This will be the first time since 2019 that the Albert Park course will be the first race on the calendar, with Bahrain taking over the opening ceremony duties since 2020. Sadly, it means us Brits will have a super early start on Sunday morning, but it's a small price to pay to have the sport back on our screens once more.

It's set to be a more exciting season than ever with defending champion Max Verstappen coming closer to defeat than ever before last year as McLaren's Lando Norris nipped at his heels in the drivers championship. Depending on how the teams have managed to develop their cars over the winter period, the 2025 season could be extremely competitive from the very first race.

Many of the driver seats have swapped around this year too, with the major switch being Lewis Hamilton's unprecedented move from Mercedes to Ferrari. The seven-time world champion will be flying racing red colours this year as he joins Charles LeClerc as the number one driver in the team.

Several other teams have also had swap arounds, with the grid welcoming six new rookies to Mercedes, Haas, Alpine and Red Bull. Whether the likes of Kimi Antonelli and Oliver Bearman can get to grips with the mighty F1 cars quickly will all be told on track.
