'When will the madness end?' ASDA shoppers threaten boycott as price of Bisto gravy skyrockets

Supermarket giant ASDA has stunned shoppers with the most recent price of Bisto gravy. As the cost of living crisis continues to affect almost every shopper across the country, people are keeping a close eye on how much they're being charged for popular, everyday items.

Last year shoppers were horrified as the price of Lurpak butter and fish fingers shot up across most big name supermarkets. And now Bisto gravy is in the firing line, as ASDA appears to have hiked up the price.

Some shoppers have been so horrified by how much ASDA is charging for Bisto gravy granules, they say they will now refuse to buy it. Others are looking for cheaper, own-brand alternatives, which can cost considerably less.

Another member added: "That is just disgusting!!! Even Waitrose are bringing their prices down!! It will have to happen...people can't just buy this stuff!!!!"

Other Facebook users said they wouldn't buy the gravy product "out of principle". They said: "I just won’t pay this for Bisto out of principle, to hype it to this price is absolutely taking the pee. They will lose money."

Others told the original poster to switch to supermarkets ' own gravy brands as they were much cheaper and tasted just as good. One commented: "32p ASDA own tastes just like Bisto!" This Facebook user is referring to the 200g
