The much-anticipated showdown between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury has been tentatively scheduled for March, but the fight hinges on three conditions.

The British boxing rivals have been trading verbal blows for nearly a decade without ever meeting in the ring, despite several attempts. Joshua, who has both won and lost world titles since first challenging Fury, could be set to face off against the current world champion. However, this all depends on both fighters remaining undefeated until then. Fury is set to defend his unbeaten record against fellow champion Oleksandr Usyk in a bout that will determine the division's first undisputed ruler since Lennox Lewis in 1999.

A rematch between the rivals has already been agreed upon, with the date likely to be either October 12 or 13. Three weeks prior to this, Joshua is expected to vie for the title of three-time world champion when he faces either Daniel Dubois or Filip Hrgovic at Wembley, reports the Mirror.

Dubois and Hrgovic are set to compete on June 1 in Saudi Arabia for the IBF world title, which will be stripped from the winner of the Fury vs Usyk fight due to overdue mandatory obligations. If Fury manages to defeat Usyk twice, and Joshua emerges victorious in London, the two are expected to meet in a £200million mega-fight in early 2025.

Tyson Fury, the British heavyweight boxing champion revealed his future aspirations in a recent interview.
