When the 2022/23 SPFL fixtures are released for the Scottish Premiership, Championship, League One and Two

It’s just over three weeks since the curtain came down on the 2021/22 Scottish football season.

The Scottish Cup Final saw Rangers lift the last trophy on offer after Celtic had regained the title and also won the Premier Sports Cup.

Hearts, Dundee United and Motherwell finished in the European spots while we said goodbye to Dundee, who were relegated to the Championship.

We’ve have the World Cup play-off and Nations League to occupy our thoughts (and nightmares after Saturday) since, but the excitement for a new season can’t be matched,

And that’s set to ramp up when the fixtures come out.

The Scottish Premiership title race is set to be played out against a backdrop of the Champions League group stage. Celtic are definitely there, while Rangers hope to join them.

Dundee will be praying for an immediate return to the top flight, but Inverness CT will be determined to make up for their play-off heartbreak and will be targeting automatic promotion from the Championship themselves.

Can Kelty Hearts continue their surge up the divisions after losing Kevin Thomson just weeks after gaining promotion to League One?

And there’s a new SPFL name in League Two after Bonnyrigg Rose emptied Cowdenbeath from the play-offs to claim their spot in the fourth tier.

The fixtures for all four Scottish leagues will be published on Friday, June 17 at 9am.

Regardless of who you support, you can access your club’s 2022/23 fixture list right here on Record Sport from 9am.

The cinch Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two all kick off on the weekend of July 30/31 2022.
