When is Tyson Fury next fight? Oleksandr Usyk date, time and location

Tyson Fury’s fight with Oleksandr Usyk is set to be delayed until 2023, says his promoter Frank Warren.

Fury won by split-decision against Francis Ngannou at the weekend. But the fight was very close and Ngannou actually knocked Fury to the ground.

The closeness of the fight took Fury and much of the boxing world by surprise. And that has thrown a spanner in the works of the December 23 date for his fight with Usyk.

"We were going to do it on 23 December. I doubt that will happen now," Warren told the 5 Live boxing podcast. "Tyson can't be going into a camp after a tough fight like that. That's eight weeks away.

"He needs at least a bit of time to get himself, his body, back into shape. Let it heal. Then get into a camp. It will be on early next year."

However, Usyk is not too impressed with the sudden change from Fury’s camp. The Ukrainian says that he only has eyes on the initial starting date and does not want to change the timing.

"We have a contract that says the fight has to take place on 23 December. Let Fury vacate his title first, then he can take his rest," he told Boxing King Media.

Talk has suggested that the two will take each other on in the ring in early January of next year. Such a short delay would allow Fury the chance to recover from his recent fight and get trained up to challenge Usyk.

The fight will take place in Saudi Arabia and initial walkout times were thought to be 10pm for a UK audience so any rescheduling would probably follow suite. TNT Sports Box Office will be
