When is the FA Cup draw with date, start time, TV channel and ball numbers for first round

The draw for the first round of this season's FA Cup will take place on Sunday afternoon.

With fourth round qualifying ties taking place this weekend, those who prevail will join the 48 clubs from League One and League Two in making up the first round draw. Among the non-league clubs looking to progress are the likes of Altrincham, Curzon Ashton and Rochdale.

Altrincham lock horns with nearby Oldham Athletic, while Curzon Ashton host Tamworth and Rochdale travel to Hereford. But when is the first round draw taking place? Here, MEN Sport has taken a close look at all of the important details:

The draw for the first round of the FA Cup will take place on Sunday, October 15. It is set to be made at 2:30pm.

The first round draw will be screened live on ITV1. The programme is schedule to start at 2:30pm and finish at 3:00pm. The broadcast does not a follow a televised fixture.

First round ties are penciled in to take place between Friday, November 3 and Monday, November 6. TV selections will determine the weekend's full schedule.
