Regardless, they will still be favourites to get the job done against Championship opposition as Watford make the trip to the Etihad Stadium.

The Carabao Cup fourth round draw will take place on Wednesday, September 25 after Liverpool's game against West Ham. That third round tie kicks-off at 8pm.
