When is Celtic Champions League playoff draw and who could they face in knockouts? Live stream, TV channel and start time
When Brendan Rodgers returned to Celtic making it out of the group stage of the Champions League was a top objective.
The Hoops managed that thanks to some red hot home form, with three wins and a draw from their four matches at fortress Parkhead. Battering Slovan Bratislava 5-1 on the opening matchday was a dream start to the newly reformatted tournament, and following that up with a 3-1 triumph against Bundesliga big guns RB Leipzig proved it was no fluke. That word could be used however to describe the winning goal that secured qualification against Young Boys - but having had three goals disallowed in a dominant first-half, few could argue Celtic deserved the win.
On the road things have been a bit less rosy - after a heavy defeat to Borussia Dortmund a switch in tactics from boss Rodgers led to the Hoops showing their battling qualities by holding Atalanta of Serie A, but were left frustrated after only leaving Croatia with a point from a stalemate against an injury hit Dinamo Zagreb.
However that's all in the past now, and all eyes are on the draw to find out who will be coming to Glasgow next month.
