When does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 start?

With Chapter 3 Season 2 soon coming to an end, a question among most fans and players is what the release date is for Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3?

The start of Chapter 3 kicked off at the start of the year by literally flipping the island over its axis, exposing a whole new unexplored side of the island. Although we didn’t get a live event at the end of Chapter 3 Season 1, the surprise reveal of Slone being alive and well, certainly blew many minds.

Now, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has entered Week 7 and is slowly approaching its end. This means that not only we will get to see the conclusion of the epic war between IO and the Seven but also ushering us into a brand new season.

But when does Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 start? Here’s everything that is currently known about the release date of Chapter 3 Season 3 in Fortnite.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is much closer than one would think as Chapter 3 Season 2 is relatively short than the first season. While Epic Games hasn’t officially shared any release dates for Chapter 3 Season 3, we can still reliably speculate when the new season will arrive.

If you check out the in-game Battle Pass menu for Chapter 3 Season, you will notice a small font at the bottom of the screen that always shows the active dates for the current battle pass. 

The Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass will expire on Friday 3rd June 2022, which means that it would the last date for the battle pass as well as the expected final day of the season. 

If that’s the case, that would mean that Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will most likely start on Saturday 4th June 2022. However, there are chances that the start date can shift a day ahead a day or two depending on the downtime or if there is a delay by Epic Games.
