When Bolton Wanderers' Charles, Bodvarsson, Bakayoko and Trafford are in international action

Bolton Wanderers now have a wait of a fortnight until they are next in action ahead of a busy month of action for the season's climax.

Wanderers have a visit to the DW Stadium after the international break to take on Wigan Athletic, before home clashes against Portsmouth and Sheffield Wednesday.

The results of that week of fixtures could have a big say on whether Bolton's ambitions in reaching the League One play-offs this season are a realistic opportunity or not this campaign.

Bolton are 11th in the third tier of English football having achieved promotion out of League Two last season.

The League One fixture schedule is continuing over the course of the next fortnight, albeit on a reduced basis after several fixtures were postponed owing to international call-ups.

That was the case for the clash at the University of Bolton Stadium against Portsmouth, which was due to take place this Saturday but has now been rearranged for Tuesday, April 5, due to international call-ups for both sides.

Ian Evatt's side have had four players called up for internationals over the next week or two.

Dion Charles has been called up for Northern Ireland ahead of their clashes against Luxembourg and Hungary.

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has been called up for Iceland for friendlies which will be taking place in Spain, as has Manchester City loanee James Trafford for England under-20s.

And Amadou Bakayoko has accepted his first call-up for Sierra Leone ahead of friendlies versus Togo, Liberia and Congo, with games being played in Turkey.
