What time is the UK Budget today?

The Chancellor will deliver his Spring Budget today (March 15) which will likely have a major effect on the economy and your personal finances.

Jeremy Hunt is expected to introduce a wave of support packages that could bring change changes to benefits, energy bills, and taxes as we get ready to enter a new tax year. Today's fiscal statement comes in the wake of the autumn statement which was delivered last November - it saw the Chancellor raise taxes across the board in an attempt to stabilise the economy.

As a result, the UK narrowly avoided a recession despite consistently high inflation rates. More recent economic figures provide some space for optimism and the Chancellor is expected to shift the focus of this financial statement towards 'growth' measures which are expected to boost the economy and increase the workforce across the country.
