What time Eastenders is on TV on Christmas Day and Boxing Day
TV fanatics wait all year for Christmas special episodes, and Eastenders viewers are likely busy anticipating a drama-filled special.
EastEnders is famed for very dramatic festivities, it was only last year The Six dominated when Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was stabbed to death by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in The Queen Vic.
Throughout the year Eastenders airs Monday-Thursday at 7:30 pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
This Christmas Day, EastEnders will be on twice for two 30-minute episodes. One will air at 7:30pm, and the second part will be much later at 10:35pm in a move that has divided fans.
It's expected that the episode will not be dropping on BBC iPlayer that morning, while the show is yet to share their schedule for the week.
What is going to happen over Christmas?
Caution, spoilers ahead. There's one major plot running through the whole episode leading to huge scenes. Cindy Beale's affair with Junior Knight comes to light.
In the lead-up, evidence emerges that could reveal all, and Cindy fights to cover her tracks. But it seems nothing can stop the secret from coming out as Christmas Day sees "secrets and lies throw a wrecking ball into the Beale family".
As always the Queen Vic is central to the drama, and this is where the affair will come to light.
Meanwhile, Phil Mitchell continues to isolate himself and Sharon Watts senses he isn't himself. She soon finds herself confiding in an unlikely ally.
