What misunderstood Cerny update REALLY means, Clement mixes it up in 4 key areas - how Rangers will line up for Hampen bow

Relieved Rangers fans breathed a sigh of relief in unison when Philippe Clement stated there is no new injuries among his Ibrox squad.

But some were left feeling deflated surrounding the Belgian's status update on Vaclav Cerny. The Rangers boss urged caution, stating: "Cerny has had six training sessions now so people can’t expect him to play 90 minutes for now, we will integrate the new players into our team". Some of the Ibrox faithful took that to mean the man who teed up Cyriel Dessers for the leveller against Dynamo Kyiv will be an impact sub, however, the devil is in the detail, of course, and Cerny could get 60 vital minutes on Saturday before starting the return leg on Tuesday night.

Robin Propper could make his Rangers debut but Oscar Cortes has a knee injury. Nicolas Raskin misses out and Hamza Igamane isn’t match fit. And they take on a Motherwell side coming to terms with having eight players out. Lennon Miller is a doubt while Shane Blaney, Callum Slattery, Sam Nicholson, Ross Callachan, Filip Stuparevic, Harry Paton and John Koutroumbis are all missing. Record Sport looks at who fans can expect to see at the national stadium.
