What Man United's Andre Onana did to make Man City star Erling Haaland laugh during penalty shootout

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana left Manchester City striker Erling Haaland laughing after his shenanigans in the Community Shield penalty shootout.

The two fierce rivals played out an entertaining 1-1 draw in normal time at Wembley Stadium in the traditional season opener. United had seen Bruno Fernandes' goal ruled out for offside and Marcus Rashford hit the post before they took the lead on 82 minutes through Alejandro Garnacho.

United's Argentine international cut inside from the right-hand side to fire the ball under Ederson. On the brink of stoppage time, City cancelled his strike out as Bernardo Silva beat Facundo Pellistri at the back post to fire a header beyond Onana.

With extra time not in operation for the Community Shield, the match went straight to penalties. United were 3-1 up in the shootout after Bernardo had his poor penalty saved by Onana to put the Reds in the driving seat.

The Cameroonian's confidence was clearly up as the Norwegian stepped up and he chose to employ mind games to try and get the better of his opponent. Onana began by shouting what appeared to be 'big man' at Haaland to grab his attention.

After placing the ball on the spot, Haaland looked up and smiled as Onana beckoned him to fire the penalty to the right of his goal by positioning himself on the left. This tactic did not work though as Haaland wrong footed the United 'keeper to slot the ball into the left side of the goal.
