What Man City striker did vs Manchester United shows class after Erling Haaland comparison
It took Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw just 81 games to write her name into the Manchester City history books.
The Jamaica international's second-half strike against Manchester United on Saturday afternoon was her 68th goal in sky blue - a tally that saw her surpass Georgia Stanway to become the club's all-time top scorer. For that milestone to arrive in a derby, in front of more than 40,000 fans at the Etihad, felt fitting; an extraordinary moment for an extraordinary player.
"It's amazing how little time it's taken her," City boss Gareth Taylor told reporters after the game. "Bunny is a unique player. Not only does she give us goals, she's a focal point, she gives everything for the team. Her game has improved a lot since she came here from France.

"She's a great personality to work with, she's honest, she helps the team and her goals are so important for us." Indeed, Shaw's goals have helped City climb to second in the Women's Super League (WSL), level on points with league leaders Chelsea with just five league games remaining.
And, if the 27-year-old, who arrived in Manchester on a free transfer from French Division 1 side Bordeaux in July 2021, manages to inspire the club to a first title in eight years this term, she will surely go down as one of the Blues' best-ever signings.
"I chose this club because I want to be a part of the environment, the culture and to play for this amazing team," Shaw said after making the switch to the Joie Stadium. "I want to be tested and there is so much experience in the team here, so I know I will learn a lot
