What channel is Ross County vs Celtic? Live stream, TV and kick-off details for Premier Sports Cup clash

The Premier Sports Cup proved the springboard to success for Ange Postecoglou in his first season in charge as he overcame a challenging start to his Parkhead managerial career to land the first piece of silverware up for grabs last season.

A win over Hibs in the final at Hampden helped galvanise his side and gave them the belief to kick on as they secured the Scottish Premiership title. Now they start their defence of that trophy with an all-top flight clash against Ross County in Dingwall.

It's never easy in the Highlands as Celtic discovered when they needed two goals in the final six minutes of their league trip earlier this season and Malky Mackay's men will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment of losing to Rangers at Ibrox at the weekend.

Ross County were furious at a poor refereeing decision in that game and will feel the game might have been different if James Sands had been shown a red card with the game at 0-0. However, they were well beaten in the end and now have the chance to make up for that quickly.

The game takes place at the Global Energy Arena, Dingwall on Wednesday August 31. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

The action will be shown live on Premier Sports 1. Coverage starts at 7.30pm.

Subscribers will be able to access a live stream via the Premier Player.
