What channel is Josh Taylor vs Teofimo Lopez? Live stream, TV channel and ring walk time for Tartan Tornado clash

Scots boxing champion Josh Taylor will bring his 15-month absence from the ring to an end against Teofimo Lopez as he looks to make a statement in New York City.

Undefeated Taylor has been out of action for the last 15 months when he retained the undisputed super-lightweight titles against Jack Catterall in Glasgow. However, the result was mired in controversy with some fans and pundits stating the decision should have went the way of the challenger inside the Hydro. A rematch was lined up between the two but Taylor suffered an injury and the Scot later vacated two of his belts and was stripped of another.

However, after the bout fell through earlier this year Taylor will finally return and defend the WBO belt against former lightweight champion Lopez. The American comes into the bout off the back of two wins in the super-lightweight division against Pedro Campa in August and Sandor Martin in December.

So where can you watch the fight? Record Sport has all the details.

The fight will take place on Saturday 10 June, at Madison Square Garden’s Hulu Theatre in New York City. With the time difference the main card will begin at 1am BST on Sunday 11 June.

Expect the ring walks for the main event to start around 4am on Sunday June 11. It could run later depending on the undercard bouts.

Sky Sports subscribers can watch the event live on TV. The fight can also be streamed on the Sky Go app or Now TV.

Josh Taylor goes into the fight as heavy favourite priced at 8/13, while Lopez is the long shot at 11/8. A draw is given 12/1 odds by the bookies.
