A furious Cesar Azpilicueta confronted some Chelsea supporters at the full-time whistle of his side's 4-2 defeat to Arsenal this evening. The Blues captain gave away a late penalty, which Bukayo Saka took full advantage of.

Azpilicueta had his hands all over Saka in the box, and the Gunners attacker went down. He then stepped up from 12 yards, sending Edouard Mendy the wrong way and capping off a really disappointing display for Chelsea.

Then, at full-time, it appears as if Chelsea fans were shouting something to their captain, and he took offence to it, pointed at the supporters and approached them. It is unclear exactly what was said, but it didn't look too friendly.

Overall for Chelsea, it was a really poor display after three consecutive defeats. Thomas Tuchel went with a rather surprising back-line of Malang Sarr, Andreas Christensen and Azpilicueta.

Tuchel confirmed before the game that Antonio Rudiger was missing due to a groin issue. Thiago Silva was handed a rest, but it didn't take long before the Brazilian was called upon.

The 37-year-old was brought on at half-time after seeing his team concede two, with Arsenal scoring via Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe. Timo Werner and Azpilicueta responded for the Blues, but they were unable to find the net in the second period.
