'What a finish!' - Manchester United fans rave over Marcus Rashford strike vs Omonia Nicosia

Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford quickly repaid Erik ten Hag's faith after he introduced him at half-time in Thursday evening's Europa League clash with Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus.

After finding themselves 1-0 down at the interval following a counter-attacking goal from the hosts, United got themselves back on level terms just eight minutes into the start of the second half through Rashford, who replaced Jadon Sancho at the break. The England international, who was dropped to the bench after struggling against Manchester City on Sunday, bent home a lovely effort from just outside the box.

The academy graduate latched onto an exquisite crossfield pass from Bruno Fernandes, used Cristiano Ronaldo's outside run as a decoy and bent home a lovely, measured effort into the far corner, narrowly evading goalkeeper Fabiano. It was an excellent finish and it took his tally of goals for the season up to four.

Considering United found themselves in a dangerous position at the break, it was just the sort of impact Ten Hag would have asked Rashford to make. It was a fine finish and provided further evidence that his confidence is growing.

Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what United's fans had to say in response to the England international's first Europa League goal of the campaign:

At the time of writing, United now lead 2-1, with fellow substitute Anthony Martial also getting on the scoresheet. The Frenchman, like Rashford, finished cooly to add to his tally for the campaign.
