Wetherspoons fan says 'take my money' over £3.14 full English breakfast
We're all used to hearing how food prices have shot up and understandably fewer people are eating out.
But one man has shared how he managed to get a full breakfast for just £3.14 with unlimited brews for just £1.04.
Matthew, who posts on his Facebook page The Wigan Runner, bought the traditional breakfast at The Wilfred Wood, in Hazel Grove, Stockport. It consisted of a fried egg, bacon, a Lincolnshire sausage, baked beans, two hash browns and a slice of toast.
The pub is one of many Wetherspoons' offering the meal at the budget price, but the cost can vary depending on location.
Sharing a photo of his brekkie, he said: "I'm a big fan of the breakfasts here, I always have been and I always will be. When it's suddenly this cheap as well. when I say Value (meaning for money) it's never been more accurate (especially with the prices of things at the moment).
"When I saw the breakfast for only £3.14 and unlimited coffees for only £1.04, I was [smiling face emoji] and thinking TAKE MY MONEY.
"The breakfast was as good as it always is, everything cooked well and good quality too. The coffee honestly they're not the best in the world and obviously instant. I'm not sure I could drink them all day if you know what I mean. But for £1.04 Unlimited it's absolutely VALUE."
Matthew often shares his budget finds on his page and places he's eaten and rated this experience 9.5 out of 10.
He added: "When I rate somewhere I've been I'm taking multiple factors into account and value for money is one of those factors. Some people will laugh like they always do but I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love Wetherspoons breakfasts, you know what you're getting every time and it's value for money, especially at this price.
