'Westwood to Hollywood' quip from EK boxer as he prepares for Hydro bout

East Kilbride boxer David Jamieson has joked that he’s gone from Westwood to Hollywood as he prepares to defend his IBO Intercontinental title at the Hydro in Glasgow next month.

The 30-year-old takes on former English champion Dec Spelman at the Glasgow arena on Friday, May 13, on the undercard when WBA and IBO super welterweight champion Hannah Rankin defends her titles against Mexico’s Alejandra Ayala, and says it’s a tremendous opportunity.
