West Ham 'will have offers' for £99m duo at London Stadium

West Ham will receive bids from rival clubs for Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen this summer, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The duo flourished in east London in 2021/22, and their performances have not gone unnoticed.

Rice and Bowen have both been called up to England’s latest squad after impressive campaigns for David Moyes’s side.

Rice is believed to be admired by Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, but Moyes has previously stated that the 23-year-old is not for sale, and will not be leaving the club for anything less than £150m.

As for Bowen, transfer insider Dean Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Liverpool are “keeping an eye” on the winger, who registered 24 goal involvements in the Premier League this term.

O’Rourke thinks West Ham will be desperate to keep Rice and Bowen at the club, but he does expect other teams to test their resolve in the coming months.

Speaking initially about Rice to GIVEMESPORT, O’Rourke said: “West Ham have put a huge price-tag on his head. That probably shows how much they value Declan Rice. I’m sure West Ham would love to keep both players right now, but I’m sure, there will be offers for both players during the summer transfer window, considering how good seasons both players have had.”

Right now, it appears that West Ham hold all the cards.

Rice still has two years left on his contract, plus the club have the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months, while Bowen is contracted to West Ham until 2025.

Therefore, given how long they both have left on their current deals, if West Ham do not receive a suitable offer, there is no reason for them to sell.
